Like Augie said, it's a traditional sit-com with the standard romantic formula. I'd also have to agree that Sarah Shahi is hot - there is also no way in hell you'd ever see someone like her teaching at a public school where I came from. I gave it 2 episodes – figured that it was my duty as a Coupling fan – and laughed a total of 2~3 times. Like Augie said, it’s a traditional sit-com with the standard romantic formula.

But I would have summed it up in a couple hundred less words. The show doesn't deserve much more of a review than, "Sit-Com Formula A with Romantic Plot Points B and C." Paint by number sit-coms. UGH I think there were three laughs in the entire show -- the only one you didn't touch on was the beer opener on the teacher's desk. Maybe that was just me, though. . . I agree.
