Snow Beauty
When I was in Montreal a few weeks back I was put up at the Le Saint-Sulpice hotel in the heart of the downtown area. It’s an elegant hotel with big, beautiful rooms and phenomenal service. One of those hotels with $125 (Canadian) robes you can buy on a whim as you leave.
At any rate, it was a great stay and the snow storm the night I flew in afforded me a chance to take some beautiful no-flash photos of mostly unspoiled city streets. These pictures were taken with me hanging out the window of my third story hotel room. In fact, the ones taken at night I was wearing only a t-shirt and boxers. The moment I opened that window and the cold started coming in, well, let’s just say it was as thought I had a sex change and the turtle scurried away forever.
Man am I glad comments are off. That last sentence is wide open for Bag Fest 2005.
Well, here’s some night and then early morning photos of the same street, plus a night time shot of their outside ice bar (not in use due to the snow-a-plenty).
