Just stopping by quickly. Mad busy right now. Crazy day, lots of work done, much more to do, not nearly enough time. Took Beau to lunch today for his birthday. Sorry bastard’s birthday lands on New Years Eve. I wouldn’t be cool with that. Oddly, I’ve got a number of friends whose birthday lands on this day.
Tonight I make my way to Giant Village for the wild party that will be Downtown Los Angeles. They’re shutting down Flower between 6th and 7th and throwing what amounts to a giant party. It’s held in front of the Bonaventure Hotel, that same hotel featured in the final sequence from In The Line Of Fire. The bar on top of the Bonaventure rotates. Smart. People booze up, then move the world on them at the same time enhancing the drunk.
When things settle down a bit I’ll share with you how they make the worlds most disgusting and wonderful Taco. You people on the East Coast don’t have access to this fast food fantasy, but when you hear my tale you’ll wish you lived amongst us on the left coast.
